In addition to our visit from Kumi, we also had visits from Keiichi (March) and Kaoru (August). These were friends from Fukuoka. Keiichi had taken us on a trip to the pottery villages when we visited Japan in 1999. Kaoru's mother, Yuko, and brother had taken us to Dazaifu and Fukuoka sites on the same trip. We were very happy and excited when we heard that they could come to visit. Keiichi had been to America before, but never to San Diego. Kaoru was a college student and came here for a short home study. He told us he wanted to see famous places, and he did. We all had a good time sightseeing.
